Location
Hillingdon Hospital is located On Pield Heath Road, Uxbridge, UB8 3NN.
Places to eat: There is a decent hospital canteen and Costa cafe and pub close by.
Transport
Challenging without a car
BUS: Buses U1, U2, U3, U4, U5, U7 stop here.
Tube: Nearest station is Uxbridge on the Piccadilly or Metropolitan lines.
Rail: Nearest station is West Drayton Station, then take the U3 bus to the hospital
Bike: There are fully-locked bike shelters at the entrance to A&E and Beaconsfield East for staff only.

Clinical Workload
Hillingdon Hospital is a busy but very friendly hospital. It has a very busy labour ward which is now 2 tier and there are good training opportunities for trainees. The team is cohesive and it is well known for its very good environment.
Gynae- Good laparoscopic and benign gynae operating training for ATSM
It is a very sociable unit with regular outings (karaoke etc)
Rota
The weekly rota is distributed on the weekend prior to the working week.
